Tim Hmay is currently Executive Chef of the Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina. He oversees both the banquet and outlet operations that include Antea and The G Lounge. The Hilton Ft Lauderdale Marina is proud to welcome Chef Tim Hmay and his exceptional culinary expertise as he strives to excel himself and the company into the upper echelons of the culinary world.

Chef Tim is no stranger to the hospitality industry. In 2007, Tim Hmay joined the Boca Raton Bridge Hotel as Executive Chef. Chef Tim’s responsibilities included the management and execution of the 121-room Boutique hotel’s culinary division. He was in charge of developing the menus and managing the culinary teams for Carmen’s Restaurant, Watercolors Cafe, all in-room dining and the banquet operations.

Chef Hmay also was the Executive Chef of 3 restaurants in Sarasota for Watson’s on the Circle Corp where he orchestrated the running of two restaurants while opening the third. His responsibilities involved overseeing all culinary operations of the restaurants and menu engineering.

He worked as the Executive Sous Chef at the Happy Hollow Country Club where he designed and executed menus for the Star Light Grille and Restaurant, The Pub and Lounge, Fine Dining Room, Banquets, Cry Room, Pool and Golf shacks.

“I strive to showcase my knowledge and the talents of my culinary team through participation in special events and organizations, including Best of Boca (Boys and Girls Club), Taste of the Nations (Share Our Strength), as well as, being a member of the Chaine Des Rotisseurs (Food and Wine Society).”
